Hi there,

Anybody planning on visiting Calgary should be very particular about documents. I was given 221 g admin processing for not having my Resume and List of Publications (i am a former phd student). It just happened yesterday and I was told it will take 3 weeks to clear. Luckily in my case I am staying in Calgary for training with my company and so the wait period is not a problem for me. If you are planning to come to Calgary, be prepared to stay at least a month in case you get admin processing.

Cheap hotels to stay are the Regency Suites in downtown which is a few blocks away from the Consulate.
