Can I apply GC for my child. She is in India

Dear Murthy Law expers,

My priority date is current to apply GC. My daughter is in India right now. But she had come to USA once in the past and having valid ITIN number also. I can wait for my daughter to come to USA but by that time GC dates can be back dated,

1) Is here any way that i can apply GC while my daughter is in India.

2) If i apply 485 for me only, when can i include my daughter.

3) What would be the status of my daugher visa,

If a dependent is abroad follow-to-join can be used once the primary applicant's I-485 is approved

I appreciate your reply. What is follow-to-join process. How many months/years will it take to get GC for my daughter? could you please explain it little more clear?
