IntrepidVoyager Posted February 9, 2012 Report Share Posted February 9, 2012 I am in a similar situation. My company filed for my I-485 and then got acquired. They have now filed an I-140 amendment and I now have a pending I-485 and a pending I-140 amendment. How does this affect the I-485? Does the I-140 amendment have to be approved before the I-485 can be approved? Or are the two independent from each other? Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment
