I485 Applied but not EAD and AP

Dear gurus,

My company lawyers only applied my I485 but not I765 and I131. They are telling me that I can apply them myself. If the lawyers apply for me there is some additional legal fees(though the application fees is free since not applied already). Now, my question: Is it okay if I apply myself? The forms looks straight forward, but still if i make some mistake, will it mess my I485 process? my PD :feb/2008.

It won't affect your AOS / 485. You may go ahead and apply on your own.

We were in the same predicament. But, we choose to use the lawyer for those applications atleast for now. Probably next time, if the need be, we will apply on our own

I think i will wait for sometime. if the date don't retrogress to 2007 I might not apply EAD.
