i140 approved (EB3) - Change employers (No Copy, No A#, But having LIN number)

Hello sir,

Following is my scenario:

1. I am in 6th year of my H1B visa.

2. I have my labor and i-140 approved under my current employer but under EB3

3. I have Masters from a US University and close to 6 years experience now.

4. I plan to change employers to get my case filed under EB2.

Issue:

My employer would not release a copy of my labor or i140. I just have the receipt number (LIN#). I would like to retain my current priority date when I move to a different job. Is it possible to do so using just the i-140 receipt number?

Any information in this regard is appreciated.

we can get with LIN through FOIA request, copy of 140.

there is plenty of info available, about FOIA and how to get 140 copy, but time line is around 6 months.
