h1b transfer for new owner of current company

Hello,

I currently got approval for H1-B with my current company X. My company is now sold to another company and the name of company X has changed to company Y. Nothing else has changed only the name.

I am traveling on March 1 to India for stamping. I am not sure if I need to transfer my visa before I travel or if I can travel on the visa by my current company X.

Please advise as I am unable to get in touch with the lawyers from company X and Y currently.

best is talk to your companys immigration specialist or lawyer. because what you are asking is all legal nothing to hide stuff.
