amorphous123
Hi, My L1B visa & petition expired 6 months back, however my I-94 is valid till 2013. Since my I-94 is valid for 1 more year, my company was not be able to file the petition for extension. I'm planning for vacation to India sometime soon. What is the process to get back to US? Thanks for your time. Link to comment
Attorney_23
Did you obtain your L-1 visa by applying under your company's L-1 Blanket? Assuming that is the case, and assuming the Blanket remains valid, you would apply for a new visa at a U.S. Consulate. Link to comment

Attorney_23
If a foreign national seeks readmission as a Blanket L-1,the individual's valid is unexpired, and the Blanket Petition is still valid, the foreign national will ordinarilly be admited for an additional three years. SG81
Hi Attorney_23 sorry, but I couldn't understand the reply. Can you please answer again. below, I am trying to explain my situation once again: I am not planning to go back to India. My L1 is expired, but Blanket petition is valid. My I-94 is also valid. I am with employer A currently. I had applied for L1 to H1 COS through employer B. It got denied. Will this, in anyway, affect my current status? i.e can I stay and work in the US based on my I-94 for L1? Thanks you so much for replying in advance. Link to comment

Sorry, that should say "the individual's visa is unexpired". Link to comment
