murthyuser123 Posted January 25, 2012 Report Share Posted January 25, 2012 Hi all, My H1B is expiring in end of May '12 so if I can not file for H1 extension before that I need to leave the country. I am consumed my six years on H1 so I need to get my PERM and I140 approved before I can file for extn.We are thinking to file for Tourist/visitor visa for my wife and child so that they can spend some more time here. Is it possible to file tourist/visitor visa while on H4? If yes, then since H4 expires in end of May '12 how soon shall we file for their B2 visa?. Once I get my H1 extension can my wife do COS back to H4 visa from tourist/visitor visa? thanks in advance Link to comment
