ky2007
Me and my wife filed our 485 in July 2007 and our PD is current since December. Should we wait longer? Then how much longer? Or should we do somthing on our side? Then what are our options? Thanks in advance. Link to comment

dknight
There is no wait time limit, but the sooner you file the better it is. Why are you waiting BTW? Also your GC sponsor company should have a valid job offer for you at the time of your I-485 filing. Link to comment

ky2007
As Belle suggested, We raised SR for delaying our 485s. On Jan 20, I received Fingerprint notice that scheduled on Feb 6. On Jan 31, me and my wife 485s were approved. On Feb 3, we received our green cards. Since I received my green card, I was not sure if I still needed to go for fingerprint but I did fingerprint anyway on Feb 6. My question is that this is going to cause confusion or I did right thing. Thanks in advance. Link to comment

Belle
I don't think it will cause any trouble. Congratulations! Link to comment
ky2007
We got another fingerprints notice for my wife. It says FBI unable to process your fingerprint card. In order to continue processing your application, it will be neccessary to have your fingerprints re-taken. This issued on 4-17. I guess this is for fingerprints my wife did last December which was her 4th time. I posted earlier that our 485s approved and we got our greencards in February. We are going to call them but is this normal? Link to comment
