k_siva
I have started my green card process and have my labor and I-140 approved. When I initiated my green card process, my wife was an Indian citizen. Her H-4 visa and extensions have been issued based on her Indian passport and this is the same information we used while filing for my Labor and I-140. Last year in November, my wife acquired her Canadian citizenship and now also holds a Canadian passport. Her I-94 (valid till 2014) and H-4 extension are still based on her Indian passport. She was now looking to applying for her OCI (overseas citizen of India). 1. However, before proceeding to do so, we wanted to know if her change in citizenship would have any impact on the GC process. I can still enroll her as a spouse when applying for I485? Going forward, do we still fill all the forms using her Indian passport? 2. She is also actively looking for jobs. If she finds one, then she will be working on TN work visa. In that as well, can I still enroll her as a spouse when applying for I485? Thanks Link to comment
