I visited India in dec 2010 and came on this visa even though I had a new visa with my current company. My lawyer told me that I din't need to get the new visa stamped as the old one was still valid. Now, since the I-94 on the passport has expired, he is telling me to leave the country asap and get it stamped Do I need to do this even though i have a valid 797 and I-94 on it which is valid till oct 2012?
