H1 B Transfer

Can I transfer my H1 B to a new employer as soon as my I 140 gets approved with the existing one. In that case will I be eligible to get a 3 year extension.

Generally, an individual is eligible for a three year extension of H-1B status when he has an I-140 approved and when an immigrant visa number is not available. Generally the three year extension is possible with an employer other than the GC sponsoring employer. Will the new employer be able to get a 3 year extension if the original employer withdraws/revokes his I 140?

The 3 year extension is only possible if the I140 is revoked after the 3 year extension and not before. In this case the 3 year extension will stand even were the I-140 to be subsequently revoked.
