H1B_updates
Yes, as you do not have any earlier records hence you have to redo the required vaccination. Cost varried from state to state. For one person it should cost around $400. Link to comment
leman
Depends on Dr / facility you are working with. I didn't have record for me and my wife, They asked me to get two vaccinations. Cost is very high at the facility.(If you tell them you had chicken pocks in your childhod, then you don't need to take that specific one.) However this is a money making business for them. dec2008
The Dr. can run blood tests to find if you were vaccinated before. I think tests are expensive. You can get them again. Link to comment
Belle
Yes, you will have to get vaccinated. It is a good thing, because many of those vaccines need to be refreshed every 10 years or so. No, they won't shoot your with mercury, and you won't contract autism from it. Link to comment
Belle
If you need to save on cost, call Walgreens or CVS and ask if they will administer MMR and TDAP for you. You may need a prescription from a doctor (not 100% sure). They take insurance, and most health plans pay for vaccinations. Link to comment
anothersoul
You can also go to local County Health department immunization clinics for free or for a nominal fee. Link to comment
chakrakr
Get the vaccination from your insurance in-network doctor. Per the latest healthcare law, vaccinations are covered 100% by insurance companies. Link to comment
