My Existing VISA was expired more than a year ago.I heard from my friend that if existing was expired more than an year ago, then we are supposed to go Home land (India) for Stamping. Sai82 Posted January 10, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 10, 2012 @john bro: To answer your questions 1) If not a Full time employee it's better to go to Canada. Also for the first time stamping only F1->H1 can go to Canada for stamping. 2) Nope you cannot and that is the main purpose of visa stamping. You need to have proper work visa to enter US. 3) You can mention that you are visiting for Visa stamping, that should not be a problem. It's better to be honest. Link to comment
