chora1168
Hi- My brother was with Company A on H1b, resigned last week to join company B on H1B. But he later found out that company B had filed his regular h1b so he called back company A if he can join them, Company A said yes if the payroll is not run by Company B. The Payroll for company B doesn't run till end of month, but timesheet have already been submitted for company B for the payroll that would run on end of the month. My Question is can he still join company A without affecting his immigration status or he has to stick to company B. Link to comment

wiweq
Yes, multiple h1b can be filed for a single person. After approval he/she needs to maintain at least one H1b status by getting paid through every pay cycle. Link to comment
