Hi ,

My h1b expired on sep 30. we applied for extension for which we got a query asking more information. USCIS asked us to reply back by dec 23rd. So right now I am working on H1b receipt. Can I apply for a university and ask for a change of status? does this have any impact on pending decision? what are my options to keep my status if my h1b extension got denied?
