L1B to H1B COS

Hi,

I need some informations regarding L1 b to H1 B COS Transfer,

Currently A is working with company A in US on L1b visa from May 2011 and Company B filed H1 B visa for A in COS category and it got approved recently.

1) Can A continue to work for Company A with L1b visa itself, because he found Company B is not paying employees on timely basis and job security is less.

2) If A cannot continue for Company A with L1b then is their any time duration to join Company B?

3) Is their any other way around to continue with Company A itself ?
