H1-H4-H1

Hi guys,

I had converted from h1 to h4 to buy some time for filing my perm. when i applied for a change, my h4 came after about 1.5 months but i wa on payroll for a month or so. when i got my h4 it was dated as starting from aug 15. i had stopped working from july 31.

now when i want to convert back from h4 to h1 can i claim the two weeks from aug 01 to aug 14 as part of h1. that way i will get couple more weeks? does anyone know if this fits within the rules or that period will be considered as h4 period? please let me know
