renjithp
Hello, I moved from Arkansas to a client in California around 5 months back. But my employer didnot change my address on time so the paystubs for the last 5 months had my old Arkansas address. I am planning to go for stamping, will this be a problem since my LCA was for California and taxes were paid in Arkansas. Thanks for any info around this. Renjith Link to comment
LookIn
I don't think there will be any issue as although they deduct your tax for AR but you need to pay your CA tax by yourself in form of advance tax. Normally your employer need to deduct it but if they are not doing it than you can pay tax by yourself. This year you will be file 2 state tax return, AR & CA. I guess it's less than 6 months so you will be non - resident for CA. Link to comment
wiweq
There will be no issue with the old address on paystub. Just make sure to change it as what is correct. Link to comment
