H1 transfer from INDIA.

I hold a valid H1 visa with valid Stamping till 2014 form Current Employer A in India. and i am still in india. i never went to US on this VISA.

can i transfer this H1 to new employer and go to UNITED STATE's With out restamping,

does this work.

Technically, there is no such thing as a transfer. It is always just a new H1 petition.

If you have a valid H1 visa, you can enter with that visa and a copy of the new H1 approval notice.

Correct. You can use the existing visa, if it is still valid, together with the new H1 approval notice.

since when i discuss with one attorney, he is saying that I need to go for stamping again since employer got changed. and on the visa old employer name is been mentioned. is that TRUE? is there any law change on this recently. can any one provide any info on the website.

Hi , Is it true that there is a law change that, if we change our employer than we need to go for Restamping again with new petition from new employer, since I am going to transfer my h1b visa from India. can some one help on this.

or excately tell me where I could find about the Rule change. can some one please help me.

It is recommended to go to stamping with the latest employer but is not mandatory but however at the POE mention the current employer name on the I94 and show them current employers petition.

There is no change. You can use the old, valid visa together with the new approval notice. Lots of people do that all the time.

Hi, I got new approved petition form new employer, and now i hold valid h1b visa stamp valid upto 2014 sep(from old employer) and new approved 797b petition from new employer.

do i need to show any client letter or any other documents at port of entry apart of these documents.

please help me as im planning to travel next week.

Its good to have a client letter but is not mandatory.
