rshah1201
I am working on H1B for the current company from last 2 years. My company moved to different location (within the same zip code, 2 miles from previous location). Do I need to inform USCIS regarding address change? or is it company's responsibility to inform USCIS regarding the change of address? Does my company needs to request for a new I-94 or any other updated document from USCIS due to address change? Link to comment
JoeF
The H1 is the company's petition, so they would need to inform CIS. There is no need to do anything else, like amending the LCA, if the move is within the same metropolitan region. Link to comment

techiz2
I'm totally confused... I have been reading conflicting statements about this. My employer is moving to new address in the same city with differnt zip, since they bought new building. Per above discussion, we do not need to do anything except that my employer should write a letter to CIS to notify our new address. am I missing anyhting here? Is there CIS weblink/FAQs on this? Thanks in advance. Link to comment
kalyan_ac
@techiz2: It depends on weather your a full time employee or employed with a consulting company. The above discussions are however correct. Link to comment
techiz2
Thanks immigrationseeker. Yes I'm a full time employee and work at employer's location and is not a consulting company either. Link to comment
