F1 to H1?

Hello,

I came to know that H1B quota is filled for this year.

I am on OPT till next June 2012. So, if any company sponsors me , what should i do?

I can't start work before the october 2012 if the company file H1B for me. And, my OPT is valid till June 2012.

So, if a company sponsor my H1B in April or later 2012 ...so what should i do for the 3 months(July, Aug, Sept) after my OPT expires? Can I stay in US for those 3 months with my OPT expire and H1B approved?

Can the company wait for me till october to start?

Please suggest what should i do?
