ramanaison Posted November 30, 2011 Report Share Posted November 30, 2011 I am currently in USA on H1B visa and my I-140 petition is pending. My H1B visa expires on 8 April 2012. But I am planning to go to India in February 2012 and return back early March (dates not confirmed yet). My question is, should I go for stamping or I can return back on the same visa? How many days before I can come back to USA before visa expires? Thank you Ram Link to comment
sivad Posted November 30, 2011 Report Share Posted November 30, 2011 I suggest to use the existing stamping to visit India and I guess you can come back with valid VISA even it expires in a month but do not go for worst case... go early and come early... but only constraint is your passport should be at least 6 months valid from your date of travel from India....
