johnmanuv Posted November 30, 2011 Report Share Posted November 30, 2011 For 2012 Cap which got filled on Nov 23, i got a an email from my employer on Nov 22nd that my petition is been filed with USCIS on before the next business day and I am on wait for receipt to be received.Does that mean that petition is been filed and I can assure it would be processed further. Was there any lottery based selection since filing happened during the last day since the cap was full.Could you please help me with an answer if it will be thru or not. Link to comment
livliv Posted November 30, 2011 Report Share Posted November 30, 2011 If the employer receives a receipt, the petition has been selected. If the fees check has been cashed, that also indicates acceptance. If not, USCIS will return the petition with a letter. Link to comment
