Who has to pay for 140 filing by law?

My employer shall file for 140 since PERM has been certified. Who has to pay for 140 filing by law?

I want to file 140 via Premium Processing and I don't mind paying for that myself. But I would like to find out Who has to pay for 140 filing by law? so that it doesn't come back and bite me in future if I pay for it.

My employer paid for my PERM. But is there any law regarding who pays for filing of 140?

The law requires that the employer pays for the LC. Employer and employee can have an agreement about who pays for the I-140. Good employers would pay for the I-140.

Thanks JoeF. Is there any part of I-140 say lawyer fees or anything else that employer has to pay by law? Just want to be sure. I paid lawyer I-1400 PP fees of 1225. It's such a long wait to get GC and don't want one little thing to screw it up in long run.
