Returning back from India before 3 months of expiry of H1B visa

Hi,

My H1B visa is going to expire in Aug'12, so can I go to India on March'12 and come back in April'12, or if I go to India then I can come back only if my visa is extended.

Hi,

You can enter the US till the date you have valid visa on your passport.

I came back to US when i was having only 15 days left in my stamped visa. But i was having the approved extension petition.
