New permanent resident status email . What does it mean.

Hi

I got the following message now. Before that I received card production ordered. And card will be send within 30 days. Again another email which tells me it will take 60days based on decision.

What does it mean.

[color=#0000cd]new permanent resident status.Please follow any instructions on the notice.[/color]
[color=#0000cd]Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration[/color]
[color=#0000cd]or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice,[/color]
[color=#0000cd]whichever is later.[/color]

[color=#0000cd]If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.[/color]

[color=#0000cd]During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed[/color]
[color=#0000cd]and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner.[/color]
[color=#0000cd]You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.[/color]

It means that you shouldn't rely on emails...

Wait for actual letters on paper, e.g., welcome letter, or the letter with the GC.
