rohit19feb
I have received the I-140 Approval with following information: Notice Type: Approval Notice Section: Mem of Profession w/ Adv Degree, or Exceptn'l Ability Sec. 203 (b)(2) The above petition has been approved. The petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status. The information submitted with the petition shows that the person for whom you are petitioning is not eligible to file an adjustment of status application at this time. I am trying to understand what this means. My priority date is not current at this time. I am not sure if there is any other resaon for not being eligible? Anybody is in the same boat? Attorney_9
The "not eligible" portion is referring to the fact that your priority date is not yet current. Link to comment
