L2 & EAD

I concurrently filed Form I-539 (H1-B to L2) and Form I-765 on August 24, 2011. Both cases are still in pending status. I have a job offer on hand and I may lose the opportunity if I do not receive my EAD in time. An attempt to expedite the cases was not successful; USCIS stated my case doesn't meet the required criteria for expeditious processing.

USCIS customer service informed me that my case will be handled through normal processing.

My biometrics appointment was completed on Sept. 16, 2011.

I have a few questions and I'd very much appreciate any help!

1.) Does anyone have an idea as to how long it would take to receive my EAD?

2.) Is anyone in a similar situation?

3.) Is there anything I can do to expedite my case?
