adayadil
Firstly, thanks for taking time to read and provide help. For a person on H4, what are the documents to be used to prove that he/she has maintained status. The first time this person received H4 visa stamping on passport using her husband's I-797. For that period, does the visa page of passport serve as the proof? At a later time, this person who had a visa with expiration date Oct 06, 2006 was issued an I-94 till Feb 2008 based on her husband's I-797. She does not have a copy of this I-94. She travelled outside US in Apr 2007 and received a new visa stamping. For the time period between Oct 2006 and Apr 2007 she was in status based on the I-94 but she does not have a copy of that I-94 which she dropped off at the airport when she left the country. Any suggestions on how she can prove her maintaining valid status? Thanks much for your help. Link to comment

adayadil
I am on H1 and my wife is on H4. We are trying to put the paper work for filing I-485. As part of the paper work, I am trying to get proof that both of us have maintained valid status during our stay in the US. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Firstly you needed to have in valid status since the last entry. Secondly it may be a better idea to have a Lawyer do the heavy lifting. Link to comment
Belle
All she needs is an unexpired I-94. Link to comment
