smv_152003 Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Hi All, My current employer has sponsored GC and my labor got approved 2 weeks back. My GC was submitted under EB-2 category. When they submit the advertisement, our company lawyer has mentioned that they need 10 years of experience for my position. Based on the details I collected from murthy forum, 5 years of experience is sufficient for EB2 cases. I am wondering this scenario will create problem to my I-140 application. I have got valid 10 years of experience. My doubt is... if the company's Job requirement says 10 years of experience, will it be eligible for valid EB2 requirement? Please help. Any suggestion is highly appreciated. Thanks...

To qualify for EB2, minimum job requirement must be MS or BS+5yrs or more progressive experience. If the requirement is BS+10yrs then job qualify for EB2, but you must have BS(~4yr degree)and 10 Yrs of progressive experience after receiving such degree.
