noob09090 Posted September 30 Report Share Posted September 30 Hi, I have completed my 6 years on h1b and had gotten 1 year extension based on pending PERM.However,I was recently laid off and perm got approved 3 weeks after the layoff. the employer is not willing to do i-140. so I am trying for other opportunities. My query is , I can file 1 year extension with new employer based on the criteria that PERM was filed before the start of 6TH year right?. will I get 1 year extension only once or I get it in increments until PERM is approved with new firm?
