Change employer when H4 EAD Renewal is in progress

I am working on H4 EAD. My I-94 is valid until Sept 2025. My H4 EAD expired on Aug 2024 and currently renewal is in progress with USCIS (Filed H4 EAD renewal during June 2024). I have received USCIS Receipt notice and have got automatic work extension for 540 days. Am I allowed to change job/employer now or Do I need to wait for my H4 EAD Renewal approval?
