L1A to H1B Posted September 18 Report Share Posted September 18 Hi Friends, My employer is going to file I-140 for me and I am in preparation of the documents. I am on L1A Visa. My family did not travel on their L2. They are going to continue in India. But we wish to have family in the whole GC process. The question is a) Can they be part of the I-140, where they will also get their priority date same as mine ? b) Is it required/ enough for them to be in US before I-485 filed ? Kindly advise.
