Kalvin08 Posted September 7, 2011 Report Share Posted September 7, 2011 Please advise. My status: GC approved as of July 9, 2011. (Current in July bulletin) My spouse is in F-1 status. We applied for her I-764/I-131 and I-485 on July 1. Just received approval on I-765 and no update on I-131 and I-485. Is her F-1 status still valid? Should she continue to go to school this Fall semester or opt out, and be on EAD? Link to comment
Belle Posted September 7, 2011 Report Share Posted September 7, 2011 Her status probably remains valid, but she should not extend it or enter the country on F1. Nothing precludes her from going to school, though. Link to comment
