Starting new company and Overlapping work/payroll while on H1B

Hi everyone,

I have to start at a new company on June 26th but i am planning to give notice the same week for 1-2 weeks for any leftover KT transition. I wanted to check if anyone has overlapped working at 2 companies while on H1B for 1-2 weeks. Can one start at new company B while serving notice period at company A.  Has anyone done this before while on H1B without any future issues and whats the max overlapping allowed or overlooked by USCIS/IRS.
