I have a new valid passport with no visa stamp. However, my old or expired passport had an expired US Visa stamp and cannot find the old passport until now. Q1 : I have drop box appointment in a few days at Hyd. Is it mandatory to carry the expired passport? or soft-copy/Xerox sufficient? Q2: Since the drop box appointment is within a few days, what are my options if I am unable to find the expired passport? Do I need to report the passport as lost to the Indian Embassy and provide that as a proof to the US consulate? Quote
