Visastruggler10 Posted April 13 Report Share Posted April 13 My husband on H1 was laid off and we are on 60 day grace period which ends on May 13. I was working on H4 EAD and my company filed my H1 in premium processing but got RFE today. Can I stay in US and continue working with H1 receipt after the 60 day grace period? Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System Posted April 17 Report Share Posted April 17 To the best of my knowledge, when it is COS from H4 EAD to H1b, you have to wait to receive an H1b approval to start working on H1 status. Hopefully your company will expedite the RFE soon so you can get your H1b approval by May 13. Good Luck. Quote Link to comment
