I applied for green Card renewal last year in March. USCIS sent I-797 Notice stating as below:
"This notice, together with your Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card (also known as the Green Card), provides evidence of your lawful
permanent resident status for 24 months from the expiration date on the front of your Permanent Resident Card. You remain authorized to work and travel. This notice, presented with your expired Permanent Resident Card, is evidence of your status and work authorization"

My question is that I am planning to travel back to India for 6 months, I haven’t received Biometrics Notice yet. Once I receive Biometrics Notice Can I go for Biometrics at Indian Consulate in New Delhi instead of US?
Note: Biometrics Notice usually has the US location for fingerprinting
