However I decided to move back to India in May 2022 and company revoked my visa in September 2022 as I left the job.My question is if I decide to go back and find an employer who can sponsor my H1B visa, do it have to go through lottery again or it can be considered as extension as I had couple years left on my H1B?Thank you. Zodiac System Posted February 3 Report Share Posted February 3 By Law, employer has to withdraw your H1b once you leave his employment. However this does not affect you. You have got a total of 6 years of H1b work visa. You can use your H1b approval to transfer it to another employer. Good Luck. Quote Link to comment
