rsuravarapu
My parents have multiple entry visa and they are here in US and planning to return back to India before 6months from their arrival date. Can they come back in a couple months and stay for 6 more months, or is the 180 day limit on B2 also applies in a calendar year, which means they have to stay out of US for 6 months before returning back? Thank you and appreciate your response. Quote Link to comment
newacct
There is no limit of number of days in a year. Of course, the more often they visit, the more likely it is that the officer may deny entry for immigrant intent, or admit them for a shorter period. Quote Link to comment
JoeF
It is never about the calendar year. A visitor should be more at home than in the US. Traveling to the US too soon after a long stay here raises red flags, and can result in a denial of entry. Quote Link to comment
