Sravi23
I hold a masters in Pharmaceuticals from the U.S and I am currently on H1-B visa working for a pharma company (company A). 1. Can I do a part-time computer science master degree while working as a full time H1-B employee? 2. After I get a degree in computer science, is it possible to get my H1-B transferred from pharma company to a new tech company ( which is a different job field/ job profile from my current job) in future when I find a tech job, without going through the lottery? 3. I have my I-140 approved from company A. Can I retain my priority date if I change to a new tech company of completely different job field/ profile? Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System
Ans 1: You can do a part-time computer science master degree. Ans 2: If you have an employer willing to do this H1b transfer then definitely give it a try. Ans 3: You should be able to retain your priority date. Quote Link to comment
