Dropbox appointment with two h1b petitions from same employer (having valid visa for 3 more months at the time of dropbox appointment)

Hi Folks,

Kindly help me in clarifying below questions. I need it urgently as I'm traveling to India in few days.

My current scenario:

• Dropbox appointment on Dec 19th 2022.
• Have current US visa valid until March 2023 (valid for 3 months more at the time of appointment)
• Have current h1 petition valid until March 2023
• Have new H1 (renewal) approved petition I-797 valid from March 2023 - March 2026 (validity starts from future date at the time of dropbox appt).
• Traveling back to US on Jan 7th 2023 i.e before the new petition kicks in.

Questions:

1) While submitting the documents during the dropbox appointment, should I provide them both the I-797s and mention that my new h1 petition is a future dated? 

2) Do we need write any paper note or anything about your scenario addressing to the consular officer as the person collecting the documents at the dropbox facility is not the consular (visa) officer?

3) What will happen to the existing visa (valid for another 3 months) after the new Visa is issued? will they cancel it?

4) Will the new issued visa contain any special annotation about the two I-1797s?

5) At port of entry, will there be any issue with the I-94? Will I get I-94 till the end of the new petition validity?
