I applied for her change of status to h4 ead on Nov 18 2022. My question is can I select a h4 start date in the application which is beyond 6 months from application submit date? Right now our attorney submitted the application on Nov 18 with start date as may 23 which is little over 6 months. Is this fine? I heard that we can opt for start dates only within 6 months from application date. Some say it’s true and other deny it. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
