We all have a visa dropbox appointment at the Mumbai consulate next month. But for work reasons, I am unable to travel to India for that appointment. And since I have exhausted the maximum rescheduling allowed, I am unable to reschedule it. But my wife and son can travel. Can that appointment be still used by my wife and son to get their H4s? I will be a no-show and likely lose my visa application fee, which is fine. Can my wife carry my passport for dropbox stamping, why I am still in the USA?
