Hi,

Can you submit a copy of i797c instead of an i797a for h1b dropbox appointment ?

One of the documents required in my case is an old i797a. Pasting requirement from appointment confirmation:

" Photocopy of previous I-797 (only if the last visa in the passport and current petition have a gap of more than one year) (applicable for H1, L1Individual)"

I do not have a previous i797a or a copy as I think I lost the document. But I do have associated i797c. 

Can I use i797c for dropbox appointment ?
