Geeky
I am currently on H1B with i140 approved and valid until 2025. My spouse (who is on H1B) and I just received GC-EAD and AP - my spouse is the primary GC applicant. I have not asked my H1 sponsoring company to change my status to GC-EAD, my company said they would continue to extend my H1 as long as 485 is pending and I can exit and enter USA using Advance Parole travel document and that my H1 status would still be valid after the re-entry. Can I start a business of my own now that I have GC-EAD? Considering the fact that I am still technically on H1B with a sponsoring employer and have not "used" GC-EAD for any kind of employment, is it possible to start a business/LLC and work for it? If yes, should I work for it part time or full time ? will that violate my H1B status ? Quote Link to comment
