Hi, I left the US in 2013 with an approved I140. I've been in India since and am contemplating returning to the US. 

I'd like to know if the I140 provides any advantage or if I'd have to go through the H1B process from scratch. 

My child has a US passport (still a minor). Would that have an impact on making my return easier ?
