Can Person on H1B share the religious faith to others if its Volunteer work for religious non-profit Organization?

example :by giving out flyers in public or visiting to individual homes and sharing faith(which doesn't have "no soliciting board") .

If someone reports to the police(for whatever reason), does it cause any issues to current H1B or Green Card processing?
