Can a H1B Visa holder work on a non exempt(Hourly) Compensation ?

Recommended Posts

I recently got an offer letter from a company, but the compensation is hourly. I like the company, and I wish to know if this is acceptable.
I got my H1B approved 4 months back.
The company provides compensation as per the H1B prerequisite salary, but the salary is hourly.
Am I allowed to work for an hourly compensation?

I recently moved from the company which sponsored me, and I am looking to move to another company that accepts H1B transfers.
Can I work on a hourly salary despite being on H1B?
Any help is appreciated.
